Honoring Our Heroes, One Branch at a Time

I’ve had the privilege of helping shape how our brand expresses gratitude, pride, and patriotism, particularly around one of the most significant holidays in American history: Veterans Day. 

Veterans Day is more than a date; it’s a legacy. It’s a day that honors the brave individuals who have served in the United States Armed Forces, from the earliest battles that shaped our nation to the modern missions that protect our freedoms today.  This holiday resonates deeply, not just with individuals, but with communities, brands, and our nation as a whole. 
Veterans Day is more than a date on the calendar; it’s a powerful reminder of the sacrifices made by the brave men and women who have served in the United States Armed Forces. It’s a day to reflect, honor, and express gratitude. 

From the Revolutionary War to the Civil War, World Wars I and II, Korea, Vietnam, the Gulf War, and the ongoing efforts of our military around the globe, each generation of veterans has carried the torch of liberty forward. 

In the world of marketing, Veterans Day isn’t about sales; it’s about storytelling.  It presents a unique opportunity, not for promotion, but for purpose. 
It’s about using our platforms to reflect the values that define our country:  courage, sacrifice, unity, and respect. And for us, one of the most powerful ways we do that is through our lapel pins.

It’s about passing down stories, values, and traditions.  It’s a tradition that must be passed down from one generation to the next. By continuing to share stories, wear symbols of respect, and educate younger audiences about the importance of service, we help preserve the legacy of those who’ve fought for our freedoms. When a child sees their grandparents’ lapel pin and asks what it means, that moment becomes a bridge between history and future. That’s why we believe in continuing this tradition, not just as a brand, but as Americans. 

We are the land of the free because of the brave. We have the responsibility to use our voice to celebrate that truth, not just on Veterans Day, but every day.
